Molex is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Enterprise Application IT Technologist who will formulate and execute on the IT strategy and long-term goals of Molex's global factories, including proposing new IT directions and develop recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction, IT operation efficiency, and bring transparency to business/technology leadership.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Combine cutting-edge knowledge and best practices in different technical fields (microservices, bigdata, cloud-native, monitoring, DevOps and related integration technology) to support digital factory implementation plan

• Full solution implementation to provide technical and operational guidance for the construction of digital factory.

• Establish standards and best practices for digital factory operations

• Provide technology governance to ensure architectural and strategic fit of projects and systems.

• Make recommendations, gains approval, and develops implementation strategies for new technologies based on business requirements.

• Delivery of Technology Strategy, Architecture and Design Services.

• Support Technology and Application Lifecycle decisions

• Participate/lead technical solution design and cost estimation of IT projects.

• Estimate implementation level of effort based upon requirements and design.

• Diagnose production problems and providing technical, strategic and procedural support and assist in resolution implementation.

• Support the development of technological concepts which improve system performance and capabilities.

The Experience You Will Bring


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical field, or, equivalent working experience.

10+ years of applications development, analysis and design experience.

5+ years of architecture experience.

•Experience in assessing, designing, development, and deployment of large applications.

•Significant experience with systems integration.

•Good experience in Microservices development.

•Knowledge of data models and data warehouses.

•Good experience on bigdata and related technologies

•Experience with system monitoring for performance and availability.

•Knowledge of cloud-native application development.

•Docker containerization experience, Kubernetes container orchestration experience.

•Experience with DevOps tool chains and CICD automation.

•Broad, diverse experience and knowledge of major technologies.

•Excellent verbal and written communications.

•Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
