Job Description:
Digital Air Ground Integration Range (DAGIR) supports all gunnery tables and CALFEX for Abrams, Bradley and Aviation platforms. The Instrumented range is a live, virtual, and constructive gunnery and tactical complex. It allows for individual and crew training that incorporates digital information systems. Digital Range Training System (DRTS) provides the infrastructure for Aviation platforms as well as Abrams, Bradley and Stryker live-fire gunnery qualifications. This complex incorporates the AWSS system into the range assets.
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Electronic Technician I who applies basic technical knowledge skills to perform routine tasks. This individual will work under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Analyzing equipment failures, troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment and range systems.
- Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, Semiconductor testers and oscilloscopes.
- Record all repair, non-repair, and data into the information management system.
- Travel is required at 50% of the time to other DRTS locations to perform the same operations and maintenance functions on the supported range, when surge is directed.
Required Skills:
- Ability to operate range systems, perform install/de-install and range maintenance tasks
- Technical knowledge of electronics principals in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operations.
- Computer literate
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell.
- Must be able to work non-standard workweeks, any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must have a valid state driver___s license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Will be required to operate Company-owned vehicles during duty hours and for business purposes only when assigned by a member of the management team.
- ATMP/Warfighter experience desired
- High School Diploma or equivalent
