Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and University Hospital of Brooklyn, in partnership Kings County Hospital Center is seeking a full time Diagnostic Radiologist, with subspecialty training in Nuclear Medicine, to serve as the Director of Nuclear Imagining.  Expertise in general Nuclear Medicine studies, PET/CT, Cardiac PET imaging, nuclear cardiac stress testing, diagnostic radiography, computed tomography and ultrasound is necessary for this position. In addition, the successful candidate will: Build and promote the Division of Nuclear Medicine. Teach and supervise residents. Conduct teaching conferences. Participate in interdepartmental conferences. Participate in scholarly activities as outlined by the Radiology RRC. Required Qualifications: New York State Medical License.  Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship trained and certified in Nuclear Medicine. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 2-years clinical experience. Candidates with multiple subspecialty fellowships are highly encouraged to apply.
