Job Description:

Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are searching for a Senior Warfare Analyst to join the team in Dahlgren, VA. We need aSenior Subject Matter Expert who supports customer organization in assessment and development of Naval concepts of operations.

You will provide support the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center Integrated Air and Missile Defense Division (SMWDC IAMD)by providing subject matter expert (SME) advice and assistance in the areas of Advanced tactical Training (ATT), Operational Support, Tactical andOperational-level doctrine review, and writing, capability analysis, assessments and experimentation support.

You must meet the requirements for Senior SME or Senior Warfare Analyst.

20+ years of Navy experience and:
  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong depth of knowledge of USN surface combatant combat systems (Aegis and/or Ship's Self Defense System)
  • Previous experience as Systems Test Officer / Combat Systems Officer preferred
  • Primary Tactical Watchstation experience desired
  • SECRET clearance; desired ability to obtain TS clearance at start (investigation basis must be valid for 6 months after start date) and be eligible for SCI
