Wells Fargo Auto Technology is looking for a software engineer to join our application modernization and digital transformation team. As a software engineer, you will be an integral part of an Agile team with a focus on delivering high quality software using modern engineering practices. More specifically, you will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, performance testing and end-to-end automation testing of software. Strong understanding of domain driven design, MicroServices architecture and cloud computing is highly desirable. In this role you will build and maintain front-end applications and also an opportunity to build .NET based applications.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5 + years of web application development experience
  • 3 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • 5+ years of web client side development using Angular or Razor



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Agile experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
  • 5 + years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using ASP.NET MVC, Knockout, Javascript, or JQuery, or with frameworks such as Angular.JS or HTML 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies
  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • API programming experience with Perl, XML, REST or JSON
  • 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
  • Experience with Kafka and PubSub patterns tools
  • 1+ year of Kubernetes experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Financial industry experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
