The Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory stock quantities needed for daily operations at an assigned location or area. The successful candidate will stock, retrieve and organize inventory as directed, determine min/max level of stock parts, and keep an accurate vendor listing. This role will work under the direction of an Inventory Supervisor.

Detailed Description:

  • Pick up parts from vendors and deliver to designated locations
  • Restock parts in designated storage areas and maintain accurate inventory count on all stock parts according to min/max levels assigned
  • Verify and record parts’ identification numbers by cross-referencing UPP’s part numbers with the manufacturer’s part numbers
  • Prepare inventory for shipping using various freight services
  • Re-stamp parts with identification numbers after being refurbished
  • Maintain inventory reconciliation as directed to ensure all directly purchased parts are posted to the appropriate work order
  • Notate all stock as “stock items” and verify removal of any stock items to be properly documented
  • Maintain and inform the supervisor and manager of updated vendor listing
  • Maintain an orderly and clean inventory warehouse area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to lift and move items weighing 80 pounds or less

Ability to travel as needed to other offices and drilling rig work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area                                             

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver’s license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company’s vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • ASE-Master Parts Certification
