HR Technology Senior Manager

Job Description:

As a member of the Global HR Technology team, the HR Technology Senior Manager (Focus on Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone) will be responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of global Workday HCM implementation by improving processes, providing leadership in design, implementation, testing and communication.  This role is ideal for a HR Technology manager who would like to limit travel while leveraging experience across various companies to implement best practice solutions in a complex, global environment for Arrow, currently ranked 109 on the Fortune 500 list.

In this role, you will partner closely with global teams including HRBPs, HR Solutions Center, Recruiting, Talent, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, Payroll and Finance to understand strategy, translate into system requirement documentation and develop solutions for a variety of business needs.

You will manage a team of HR Technology analysts located in Denver, Asia and Europe by recruiting, training and coaching employees, appraising their performance and collaborating on their development, and inspiring the team to provide valuable technology-enabled solutions. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provides thought leadership regarding best practices that enhance the overall end user experience utilizing Workday’s tools, practices and services
  • Responsible for executing strategic and tactical deliverables in accordance with project schedules and budget, collaborating and leading technical teams with multiple workstreams
  • Involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design phases to testing, deployment and support
  • Ensures solid and thorough requirements are documented, approved and communicated, holding the team accountable for clear functional designs that minimize rework and extended timelines for unplanned development
  • Responsible for staffing and team leadership, including talent acquisition and management of a diverse workforce, career development and performance feedback
  • Effectively communicates strategy, technical designs, governance models, team deliverables and status to various audiences including functionality delivered through system updates
  • Stays current on Workday release strategy and incorporates new features and functionality into the system roadmap as appropriate
  • Collaborates with the Application Support Team to ensure sustaining support processes are in place

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of HR Technology (HRIS) and/or IT people management experience in an applications delivery environment
  • 5+ years of experience with HRIS full cycle deployments (Workday and/or ServiceNow preferred) including translation of functional requirements, technical specifications documentation, development, testing, and implementation in a global environment
  • Experience working in a large company, with a global presence
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage and develop a team based in several geographical locations
  • Ability to appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively while being sensitive to a multicultural and multi-generational environment
  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills including the ability to bring together various teams and resources to deliver results
  • Great communication, both verbal and written, presentation and facilitation skills to drive stakeholder consultation and engagement
  • Ability to take complex topics and break down into simple concepts easily understood by target audience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC concepts, framework and deliverables
  • Can-do, make it happen attitude while being sensitive to change management discipline and SOX compliance

Even Better if You Have

  • Experience managing a team of HRIS Analysts highly desired
  • Experience with LMS Systems (e.g. Cornerstone), highly preferred

Hire Range/Rate:

$153,450.00 - $187,550.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
