Job Description:
The Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) team has an immediate opening for an IT Asset Manager. In this role you will manage all aspects of COTS and FOSS hardware and software through the full program development, build, and delivery lifecycle. Strong knowledge of asset management best practices and extensive experience tracking COTS / FOSS items using Microsoft Excel are essential for this position.
Note: Candidates with a current TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher are eligible for up to a $40,000 sign on bonus if the clearance is confirmed and the candidate is hired by Raytheon
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizenship and have an existing / current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of mainstream COTS hardware and software vendors, including commonly used maintenance and licensing agreements
- Ability to maintain detailed records on procured COTS / FOSS products deployed in both private and public cloud environments, including establishing notification mechanisms of impending maintenance/license renewals needed
- Experience documenting and maintaining the COTS / FOSS software baseline, including patch release information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of deliverable hardware and software CDRLs as needed
- Good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- U.S. Citizenship with an existing / current TS/SCI Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to FOSS approval processes
- Experience working with Supply Chain organizations to procure hardware/software
- Exposure to US Government Information Assurance policies
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or relevant STEM Degree program with 6+ years of related work experience required
