Location(s): Atlanta, GA; St. Louis, MO; Morristown, New Jersey; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN and Wallingford, CT.

The PBM Pricing Strategies Director is responsible for overall management and strategic direction for Pharmacy Services pricing, underwriting analytics, Administrative Services Only (ASO) support functions, and auditing and monitoring the pharmacy rebate/discount programs. 
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
•Reviews, analyzes, and reports several financial components of pharmacy financial performance. 
•Provides decision support for business unit senior management teams business goals. 
•Works with Client Managers, Health Plans and Sales team to ensure company is pricing competitively and to refine the pharmacy sales strategy. 
•Analyze processes and develops best practices and process improvements related to pricing, guarantee monitoring, rebates/discount programs, and ASO passback activities. 
•Manages the development of tools and processes to monitor discounts set up by vendor, rebate calculations, margin revenue, pricing accuracy and client retention. 
•Monitors revenue performing below thresholds and develops necessary tasks to bring performance to or above targets.
•Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 

Qualifications

•Requires a BA/BS in Finance or related field
•9+ years of experience with a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM), financial reporting, pricing, rebates, business data analysis, and vendor management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
•Business analysis, process improvement and/or project management experience is strongly preferred.
•Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills. 
•High level of proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
•MBA preferred
Proficiency and understanding of underwriting processes, healthcare products, and contracts.
