Registered Nurse Float Pool

FT Days 5am - 5pm

 

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care to patients who are consistent with the RN’s knowledge and skills that are in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. Promotes a positive teamwork environment, which emphasizes respect to all including, patients, families, physicians, staff and other departments.

 

The Float Pool Nurse will float to all units of the hospital; initially entering the float staff starting on the Med/Surg Unit and then progressing to other units as orientation advances.

Qualifications

  • Current Utah RN or Compact State RN License.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. 
  • Previous hospital experience is strongly preferred.
