The Senior Lead Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible driving the Regional Enterprise Marketing plan, supporting national marketing campaigns and programs, and enabling the sales force to acquire new customers. This position will develop and deliver tactics that drive high utilization and significant, measurable results from marketing programs, campaigns and tactics to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle to meet Lumen's sales and revenue targets. The FMM role will be part of the North America Sales Organization supporting the Regional Enterprise team.
The Main Responsibilities
* Drive marketing programs and events from collaborating in planning, to scheduling, to execution, and through results tracking.* Develop and execute communications plans to ensure that Sales is aware of marketing programs, product launches, sales enablement activities, and other top priorities.* Ensure adoption and participation in marketing campaigns and the related use of marketing automation tools by sales professionals; develop and deliver actions plans for improvement in adoption as needed.* Manage a formal feedback process to provide field input on programs and promotions to product and segment marketing teams.* Drive lead generation activities to increase lead conversion rates (i.e., conversion of leads into sales funnel opportunities) to meet overall revenue targets. Pilot new demand generation programs.* Track lead generation results using Salesforce.com. Communicate these results, identify, and address issues affecting prompt follow-up on leads and/or lead quality concerns and identify opportunities for improvement to sales and marketing leadership.* Participate in and/or lead special projects on an as-needed basis.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum Qualifications* Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' progressive marketing and other work experience* Quota-bearing sales experience and/or experience supporting quota-bearing sales * Experience managing multiple vendor relationships* Strong analytical skills and comfort with developing and supporting marketing metrics and reporting on measures of success such as Program ROI* Verbal and written communication skills appropriate for supporting Regional Sales VP/ General Manager and presenting to C-Level customers & prospects of organizations with 1,000+ employees.* Proven track record of successfully partnering with and supporting sales management* Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans including lead generation programs* Experience with sales and marketing automation systems Salesforce.com and Marketo* Social Selling skills* Strong team player with a positive attitude* Travel 20-30% (currently none during COVID-19 pandemic)
Preferred Qualifications* MBA preferred but not required* Product knowledge in network, cloud services, security, voice and/or managed services combined with strong solution selling knowledge* B2B Marketing Experience desired in managing multiple market segments* Technical sales, sales engineering, or product management experience a plus
