The Role

The Security Product Solution Manager is responsible for serving as the main content authority and lead in Product Development efforts through design and development within Architecture, Engineering, Strategic Planning & Information Technology. Ensures on-scope, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the product portfolio objectives, including business requirements definition and prioritization, driving cohesive end-to-end solutions, representation of Product within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Program Planning sessions, and full testing of strategic initiatives. This role requires adherence to prescribed product development methodology (including mix of rapid development and staged development based on program goals and deliverables), project management, change management processes, strong communication skills, and implementation of project/business based financial controls. Serving as a critical business leader in the on-going evolution of the company’s Product Solutions. The Product Solution Manager will establish relationships with key leaders from across the business and with external partners critical to the success of programs, including but not limited to direct interaction with individual contributors, manager, director, and vice president leadership.

The Main Responsibilities

+ Delivers solutions to Security Product Management, meeting or exceeding committed scope, goals and objectives of the solutions and accuracy and performance of the deliverables

+ Understands the Product that he/she supports including the business value and customer experience

+ Understands the technical aspects of the product not only from a product solution perspective but also from a system perspective including service delivery and service assurance

+ Utilizes Program Management techniques to manage the cross-functional delivery of the required solutions across multiple Value Streams

+ Works closely and consistently with Information Technology, Architecture and Engineering in the validation, design, development and launch of products and services

+ Understands clearly the SAFe framework and is able to apply it throughout the development and delivery process

+ Works closely with the development teams to plan and schedule demos, testing and production release of the capabilities

+ Leads regular project team meetings to prepare product requirements for delivery

+ Leads end to end user acceptance test (pre and post release) for each product initiative

+ Coordinates and oversees all interactions involved with delivery of product requirements by IT and A&E (PI Planning, capability reviews, etc)

+ Reports, escalates, and follows through to resolution when risks or issues arise pertaining to PI development

+ Tracks and reports on PI development status

What We Look For in a Candidate

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or related equivalent experience

RELATED EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years related experience in Product Development, Product Management, Technology Development, and/or Quality Assurance Testing.

COMPETENCIES: Leadership, effective decision making, strong communication and organizational skills, strong program management skills, technical oriented, self-motivated, customer oriented, drive ownership and accountability, drive and executes with urgency. Working knowledge of agile development methodologies preferred.

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and automated testing will be considered a plus.
