The Deals Desk Sr. Analyst will help accelerate growth and advance NCR's global competitiveness in conjunction with strategic pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate has a solid business mind, is numerically savvy, and is passionate about getting things done. The role will be a combination of strategy consulting with the satisfaction of pushing your ideas through to implementation as well as financial analysis helping to ensure large deals are aligned to our company strategy. The role is responsible for helping to establish scalable governance processes and providing analysis for reviews/approvals of our growing subscription and preferred offer deals. This role will partner with multiple internal stakeholders to create and implement tools and processes to scale deal analysis. More specifically, this role will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Pricing, and Industry Leadership to:
  • Help establish scalable subscription governance processes and tools to ensure adherence to standard packaging/pricing, T&Cs, etc.
  • Help identify and document subscription cost drivers and perform Cost, Volume, Profit analysis for subscription and transaction-based products
  • Create standard P&Ls for each subscription bundle and preferred offer that can be easily manipulated for specific deal analysis
  • Help craft and structure large subscription and preferred offer deals
  • Bring market and competitive intel to deal analysis
  • Help establish closed feedback loop with pricing strategy team by creating and maintaining deal database to inform pricing/packaging updates and expand competitive intel

Educational & Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study, Master's Degree is a plus
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in consulting, strategy, or finance-based roles
  • Experience with a multi-national firm; technology and SAAS experience preferred
  • Exposure to Sales or Finance functions is a plus
  • Good technical background; Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Confidence dealing with less-than-perfect data
