Under supervision of the HR Operations Manager, preforms professional level human resources activities in functions such as employee services, benefits, training, security, unemployment insurance and related areas. The HR focus for this position will be in the employee services department supporting multiple OCONUS n-MIRDO and interacting with program stakeholders which include (GSD, Corp HR, Site HR, medical, staffing) and corporate stakeholders.

  • Prepares paperwork for employee orientation for all employees going through the OCONUS N m-IRDO.
  • Assists with communications between employees and management to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • Specializes within two or more assigned areas of human resources.
  • Coordinates employee services personnel actions with the appropriate Corporate or GSD POC’s.
  • Interprets human resources policies for supervision, counseling employees concerning work related problems and conducting termination interviews;
  • Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
  • Provides assistance to line management regarding employee relations practices.
  • May provide technical guidance to lower level staff.
  • Maintains the retention of LOGCAP V employees human resource records by ensuring all the proper documents are maintained in each employees’ personnel files.
  • Completes accuracy and compliance review of all new hire documents are completed and properly filed, among other tasks.
  • Other administrative job duties as assigned


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
    • One-year experience in HR
    • Practical knowledge of assigned HR functional areas
    • Previous experience working on a Government Contract or LOGCAP would be a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Specializes within two or more assigned areas of human resources
    • Skilled working in a team-orientated environment and able to demonstrate strong customer service skills within an organization.
    • Communicates professionally orally and in writing
    • Previous knowledge in an HRIS systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, etc.)
    • Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures and war zones.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
