Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented NRO Account Executive to join our team in the Herndon, VA area.


Identify and qualify opportunities with the organization and its stakeholders related to information technology, SIGINT, GEOINT, Cyber, software applications development, infrastructure, and analytics. Work closely with the Vice President of Growth and Line Lead within the Intelligence Sector to develop an executable Market Account Plan that focuses on identifying, qualifying and winning new business with this customer. 

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and Qualify a Pipeline of NRO opportunities aligned with ManTech’s core competencies and Technology Focus Areas (TFAs)

  • Develop and implement Customer Engagement Plans for both the NRO writ large and on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis to engage clients in identifying and shaping opportunities

  • Develop strategies/actions to shape business efforts as well as gaining competitive intelligence/business intelligence on both competitors and customers

  • Present briefings to leadership that include business case/value proposition to support investments (dollars, resources) towards Capture and Bid decisions

  • Drive company Branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses and participation in Industry groups to gain insight to near/far-term customer & mission needs 

  • Identify technology/staffing gaps and vet teaming partners that help raise opportunity Pwin. Maintain business relationships with Industry Partners to facilitate teaming and knowledge management.

  • Support and successfully perform against yearly company and individual goals.

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of ManTech’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives, and work closely with operational P&L to provide solutions to the NRO

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a technology or business background

  • 10+ years of experience selling solution and support services within the Intelligence Community and NRO (sales, marketing, capture), with direct experience in the last 3 years.  Experience as a Project Manager with NRO programs is a plus

  • Prior experience developing business to and/or strong relationships within NRO and Industry is required, including knowledge of the various NRO Directorates & Offices and their roles.

  • Preference for candidates that also have experience working within Ground Enterprise (GED) and Mission Operations (MOD)

  • You should have a strong reputation in the appropriate customer communities and have a mix of direct program experience coupled with direct experience in the realm of Federal business development.

  • You should also have a demonstrated track record of consistently winning opportunities up to $100M PV. Experience winning opportunities greater than $100M is strongly desired.

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
