Minimum Qualifications: Master's in psychology OR Bachelor's in psychology AND Master's in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience or social work OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, Physiological, or a related field. Experience teaching or expertise to be able to teach brain and behavior. Experience teaching distance education courses in learning management systems such as Canvas. Experience mentoring students and advising student organizations. Experience managing student research projects. Experience designing curriculum and student learning outcome assessments. Demonstrated commitment to equity and diversity-minded instruction. Implementation of current innovative teaching methods that encourage student engagement and learning. Demonstrated use of technology in the classroom. Evidence of ongoing professional development and/or scholarship. Salary Range: $64,236 - $97,252 Annually
