The Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission support program provides operations, facilities, and maintenance support for the Navy with locations in Florida and the Bahamas. Come join the team that's supporting America's Navy!

Amentum is seeking an Information System Security Manager in West Palm Beach, FL to work as part of a close knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As a member of the team you will:
  • Oversee the computer networks at West Palm Beach and Andros Island Bahamas including insuring that they are safe from cyber attack.
  • Oversee and manage information security program implementation within the organization or other area of responsibility.
  • Manage strategy, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness, and/or other resources.
  • Acquire and manages the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support IT security goals, and reduces overall organizational risk.
  • Validate continuing cybersecurity of both the open and closed Autec IT networks.
  • Filter and correlate network incident data and make recommendations for mitigation plans as needed.
  • Perform quarterly record scans of the closed enclave systems.
  • Manage the AUTEC Comsec program including loading NSA Type 1 Comsec keys and encryptors.
  • Oversee maintenance of all IT networks, PC's, peripherals, and keep an up to date record of the configuration and attached devices per the AUTEC Configuration Management requirements for networks and equipment.
  • Manage network access control lists for the ARGOSNet per the AUTEC Configuration Management Plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must currently work on existing AUTEC contract in order to be eligible for this position.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must possess a current Secret or interim Secret government security clearance.
  • Bachelors degree OR CNSSI 4012 certificate OR ADQ GA7 or successful completion of at least one of the following military training courses: NEC 2779 (CIN: A-531-0009) or 3372 or CIN W-3B-1500 (EKMS Manager) or A-4C-1340 (KMI) (or DOD Service equivalent).
  • 3-5 years' specialized entry-level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management).
  • CompTIA Security + (CE) certification is required.
  • Familiar with implementing network policies and procedures of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and OPNAVINST 5239.1, Navy Cybersecurity Program.
  • Expertise with Commercial and DoD firewalls, anti virus tools, intrusion detection tools, intrusion mitigations measures, etc. Expertise implementing, monitoring, maintaining and upgrading network security protocols and mitigating external and internal threats.
  • Expertise implementing the provisions of the with Navy Cybersecurity Program, the AUTEC computer network risk management framework.
