What you will do

Inspectors areresponsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, andpreventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safetyproduct lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.

How you will do it

- Work with low voltagewiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.

- Complete ServiceAcknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such aslaptop computers and/or hard copy.

- Follow and maintain ahighly structured inspection schedule.

- Input, retrieve andarchive inspection documents via laptop computer.

- Make minor repairs andprogramming changes to systems being inspected.

- Provide technicaltraining to less senior inspectors and trainees.

- Complete assignedinspections on time.

- Perform other duties asassigned.



What we look for
Required

2-5 years documentedservice experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler

-Experience in readingand interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programsschematics and operational/product manuals.

- Experience with handtools and multi-meter usage.

- Demonstrates anaptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.

- Ability to followverbal and written instructions.

- Capable of performingphysical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70lbs.

- Able to work in unusualand sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and highlift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, aboveceilings, etc.

- Ability to workflexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.

- Ability to adhere to,implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

- Able to obtain andretain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

- Successful completionof the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).

- Possess a validdriver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

- Able to pass apre-employment background and drug test.

- Demonstrate a highlevel of customer service.

- Ability to work wellwith others.

- Self starter that canwork with little to no supervision.

- Strong organizationalskills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

- High School Diploma orequivalent required.

- Fire pump experience
- Service background

- NICET Level IIcertification

- Backflow License

- Familiarity withsprinkler systems and extinguishers
