Position Description: OB Tech/C.N.A Full-Time Nights
Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to acutely and/or non-acutely ill patients.  Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.  All under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or unit Director. Performs other duties as assigned, within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice.Provides ADLs to patients and assist physicians and performs services requiring technical and manual skills under the direction of an RN.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Scrubbing experience in OB or in the Operating room required.
  • CNA certificate (Utah CNA Registry).
  • Six (6) months to one year of nursing related work experience preferred.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and certification .
  • Current STABLE preferred.  Must obtain STABLE within 1 year of hire and maintain certification.
Skills:
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology
  • Good verbal and written skills required.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
