GENERAL PURPOSE

The Director of Health Services position is a two-year position (January 2021-January 2023). The Director will be a team-oriented clinician who will lead department priorities in Health Services. As the clinical leader of the health services team, the Director will share in efforts to articulate the mission, vision and goals of a responsive health services department. The Director will play a significant role in all things related to COVID-19 and work closely with local departments of health in managing campus cases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee case management for all COVID-19 cases, confirmed and potential. Work with the nurses in health services to coordinate processes and communications to appropriate parties. Speak regularly with the Department of Health, monitor changes to COVID-19 symptoms via CDC, and NYSDOH.

Oversee immunization compliance for students at the college to NYS and manage a process for COVID-19 vaccine when applicable.

Serve as Laboratory Director to oversee COVID testing on campus.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have current NYS nurse practitioner license

Doctoral degree

5-8 years' experience
