Title:

Sr. Logistics Administrative Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration for the most complex and major contracts concerning CAV (Commercial Asset Visibility System) for Government customer.
  • Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. 
  • Maintains in-depth familiarity with the details of each assigned contract (i.e. special/general provisions, prices, delivery, profit or fee, change status, restrictive clauses, etc.) 
  • Identifies potential contractual problems or conflicts and analyzes impact/ramifications. 
  • Evaluates and develops alternative solutions to contractual issues. 
  • Prepares special reports and analysis as required. 
  • Provides work leadership/technical guidance to all other CAV administrators. 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. 
  • Prefer seasoned professional who applies advanced knowledge of theories, principles and concepts in specialized field. 
  • Researches and resolves complex problems in specialty area(s). 
  • Problems are unique, multi-faceted and involve complex technical issues across multiple disciplines. 
  • Works under company objectives and general managerial direction, with limited guidance available 
  • Significant customer interface. Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of contract administration including government regulations/procedures. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent written communication skill.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related discipline and 3 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of directly related work experience is required.

Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
