Adjunct Instructor -Engineering Mathematics The School of Engineering at TCNJ is hiring talented, part-time adjunct faculty to teach Engineering Mathematics. Two distinct engineering mathematics courses covering ordinary differential equation, partial differential equations, and introductory statistics are taught with multiple sections each semester. Topics covered across these courses include: linear systems, basis, vectors, matrices, eigenvalue-eigenvector problems, Fourier series, periodic functions, functions of arbitrary period, even and odd functions, half-range expansions, probability, continuous and discrete distributions, and simple and multiple regression and correlation. Project-based computational problem-solving using MATLAB is incorporated into both courses. These subjects are presented in context to engineering applications. Required Qualifications: Individuals should ideally hold a PhD in engineering or mathematics, but individuals with a master degree and/or specialized experience will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Previous teaching experience, industrial experience, or professional licensure is a plus. We work with our adjunct faculty to schedule teaching that fits into work and personal schedules.
