We have an excellent opportunity for a Fire Systems Engineer to join Honeywell’s building management solutions team at Newcastle upon Tyne to work across some of our most prestigious client sites.


•Adherence to Service Quality System via Internal and External Audit.
•Reduction of unproductive time by continually organising and supervising engineer and area workloads in conjunction with Resource Allocator and Senior Engineer.
•Increase and maintain the number of completed calls per day to achieve the KPI’s.
•Improve the First Time Fix rate for all fault calls. Improve the Maintenance Backlog.
•Efficiently deal with the open calls.
•Control stock via regular stock takes in order to ensure that stock variances are managed within budget.
•Identify and action any additional maintenance and small works sales opportunities.
•Act as a first line of escalation for Central Administrators and other engineers with problems on customer sites.


•Extensive knowledge of Fire systems.
•Experience within the Electrical/electronic industry.
•C&G, BTEC, OND qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline.
•BS 5839, Service and Maintenance and Design understanding is a strong plus.
