POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides care for patients requiring MRI procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing MRI for diagnostic procedures. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes backup call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Completion of MRI training.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
6 months related experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a “General Radiographer”; ARRT Registration (R). Advanced level certification in MRI is required within 6 months of hire date. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
