Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, 12-month faculty position in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor. This position is funded by Kroger Health.
Essential Functions
Will include didactic and experiential teaching in the Health Outcomes Graduate and Doctor of Pharmacy program. The successful candidate will be expected to publish in the peer-reviewed literature, obtain extramural funding, and recruit and educate graduate students. In this position, and with collaboration of the Kroger pharmacists, the faculty member shall plan, initiate and conduct mutually acceptable research projects related to the delivery of pharmacy services at the MTM center. The intent of evaluating the processes is to improve the program as it matures. Evaluations can be focused on, but are not limited to, measuring quality performance metrics and completion rates of interventions and description of best practices and opportunities to change or improve the MTM center. Additionally, the individual shall provide patient outcome analyses of patient data and pharmacy services data to support provision of MTM interventions. The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is located on the Health Sciences Campus in close proximity to Cincinnati's Children's Hospital, the Cincinnati Veteran's Administration Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as well as the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Professions. This location facilitates partnerships in teaching and research.

Pharmacists in the Cincinnati/Dayton division of Kroger Health routinely provide a wide variety of direct patient care services including biometric healthcare screenings, immunization services, medication therapy management services, chronic disease state management, and appointment-based medication synchronization services.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates at the assistant professor level must have obtained a PhD or a terminal doctorate in pharmacy, health services research, health economics, public health, or closely related field from an accredited college/university and will have completed appropriate post-graduate training or have similar background and experience. Those at the associate professor level must have an exceptional scientific record in the field of Health Outcomes research.
