Honeywell Building Technologies has an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Architect to cover the UK & Ireland. In this role you will provide primary technical pre-sales support to Honeywell Building Management Systems partners and/or End Users in one or more regions assigned to you. You will be based in one of Honeywell offices or out of your home office, which should be located near major airport in the geographic region if the covered region requires regular flying.

The role requires extensive travel, primarily to customer sites but also to Honeywell office locations

This position would suit a focused and motivate pre-sales technician who can prove a strong technical background of building management applications, hardware and software.


Solutions Architect:

  • Provide primary technical pre-sales support to BMS partners and/or End Users in one or more regions assigned.
  • Assist in the sale of all BMS services to meet customers’ individual technical needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to be recognized as the “trusted technical advisor”.
  • Ability to select from the full solution from the BMS products and services portfolio that best fits the customer needs.
  • Project manage and support pilot installations, coordinating installation activities with various internal and external support groups, addressing and elevating any technical issues promptly.
  • Develop training plans in according with the regional leader and training team, to ensure that all assigned partners have the right knowledge to propose and support the BMS products portfolio.
  • Organize workshops, webinars and trainings with key end users, consultants, and contractors
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote Honeywell products and services
  • Drive NPI evangelisation activities to increase in a sustainable manner adoption rate
  • 70% time spent with Business Developments Managers on demand generation, 30% time spent with Account Managers to develop top System Integrators and following existing opportunity pipeline.



  • Bachelor’s degree is beneficial, preferably in Computer Science or a technology-related discipline, or related professional experience including customer-related sales support activities among which analyzing customer business needs.
  • A people person who builds professional, profitable, trusting long term relationships.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking, results-oriented and a problem solver; Autonomous, mature, credible, highly professional, and comfortable in dealing with individuals at very senior levels.
  • Demonstrated sales results to organizations of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Understands and is able to articulate a value proposition to customers.
