JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide Program Management for a cross-function program involving Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).  May Oversee a Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


•         Develop action plans daily for parameters outside of predetermined ranges

•         Manage deliverables of data logger deployment including cloud portal setup and equipment deployment

•         Manage installation, access schedule, and site orientation for 3rd party data logger provider

•         Manage ad-hoc requests, onboard, offboard devices and equipment

•         Manage maintenance requirements for leased / owned sites.

•         Leasing support- manage requirements for “alternate sites”

•         Manage 10-point plan – which involves landlord follow up-approving pricing for reporting and HVAC upgrades

•         Manage transition from in-person handheld readings to data loggers

•         Identify sensors that may require re-calibration or maintenance

•         Identify action plans for sites that are outside of recommend range


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Two business analysts to report to this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BASc/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum four years of related experience. Engineering degree preferred.  Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

PEng (Professional Engineer) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques. Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
