You are:
An expert in ecommerce logistics.
The Solutions Marketing Leader  is the internal spokesperson for Pitney Bowes’ Global Ecommerce Services in the 3PL, marketplace and platforms industry segment. In this role, you will define how we tell our story in the market. You will work closely with product management and every client-facing team to bring this story to life. And you’ll be helping grow one of the most innovative and unique marketing teams in this industry.

 
You will:
• Assess market landscape, trends and opportunities, and identify priorities within the industry to set the strategic focus to further develop the 3PL, marketplace and platform ecommerce segments.
• Develop a deep understanding of all Pitney Bowes ecommerce solutions, and leverage your expertise to identify customer needs, primary drivers, and top industry use cases.
• Deliver credible ecommerce vertical expertise to increase awareness, demand and loyalty for Pitney Bowes ecommerce solutions
• Lead the development of content to drive industry awareness, engages clients and generates pipeline
• Create clear, compelling presentations to educate sales and client teams
• Anticipate and take action on emerging changes and potential disruptions in the category and make recommendations to senior leadership on the implications
• Act as an industry subject matter expert, regularly monitor industry trends and developments (e.g. market climate, new regulations, technology trends), and engage in related associations and forums.
• Provide market insights and guidance that inform our demand generation and thought leadership efforts; serve as a primary content subject matter expert.
• Be a strong voice representing our 3PL, ecommerce customers across all conversations and projects; opportunities to present to internal and external audiences at live meetings, webinars, and events.
• Manage 1-2 direct reports who will be focused on product marketing & sales

 

Qualifications
Your Background: 
• Domain expertise. Ecommerce logistics expertise, particularly working with mid-market pure play brands.
• Experience. 10+ years in an industry product marketing or management consulting role, or equivalent experience.
• Customer focus. Deep understanding of and credibility with ecommerce customers, their pain points, and the context in which they work.
• Obsession with data and insights. Understanding of data visualization and data storytelling best practices. Ability to manage primary and secondary research projects.
• Entrepreneurialism. Willingness to be provocative and outspoken to help break through the clutter and differentiate our POV. Has the energy and determination to cut the red tape and stay agile.
• Talent for storytelling. The ability to create narratives that communicate the “why” of capability or feature. Excellent writing ability, including the ability to communicate technical concepts. Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
• Will require some travel (<20%%) once it is deemed safe to do so (remote work arrangements are permitted)
