Job Description


Role Responsibilities:
-Partner with data analyst, product owners and data scientists, to better understand requirements, solution designs, finding bottlenecks, resolutions, etc.
-Support/Enhance data pipelines and ETL using heterogeneous sources
-Transform data using data mapping and data processing capabilities like Python and SQL
-Expands and grows data platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges
-Ability to dynamically adapt to conventional big-data frameworks and tools with the use-cases required by the project
-Work with major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) Hadoop cluster

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in architecting Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Big Data Solutions (Spark Data querying and storage including SQL, Parquet, XML, JSON), Cloud BI solutions at major consulting firm or systems integrator
- 5+ years of experience in Python best practices, logging, and strong debugging skills
- 5+ years Strong SQL knowledge, able to read and understand SQL
- 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing Data architectures, Data Ingestion, BI solutions or migrating on-premise Data environments to any of the major cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure, and Strong Python engineering skills, programming skills, Restful API's
- 5+ years of experience in building time series, historic data sets. Ability to create clean, easy to maintain, modify and support code

Preferences/nice to have:
- Familiar with git source control, CI/CD, agile development practices
- Able to work independently and ask for guidance when needed
- Strong communication skills and delivery focused
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience
