Qualifications

Education
  • High School, Technical School graduate or equivalent.
Licensing/Certifications
  • Certification for proper refrigerant practices, transition and recovery from an Environmental Protection Agency approved program.
 
Qualifications
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience (2 years preferably in a supervisory position) in the operation, repair, and maintenance of institutional/commercial buildings, HVAC/R equipment and systems.
  • Satisfactory completion of approved courses in HVAC/R or a related field may be substituted for one (1) years’ experience.
  • Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Building Controls, JCI Metasy Ice Machine Repairs, Computer Literate.
  • Decisively provides direction for contracted work/helpers, maintains parts/materials inventory, estimates costs and proactively gives technical information concerning HVAC/R activities.
