Arrow Electronics has an opening for a Windows and Citrix Administrator who can provide the technical hands on skills to implement and support a large-scale Windows/Citrix environment. Ideal candidates should exhibit a broad-based technology background, possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be creative innovators with a proven track record of engineering, deploying and supporting virtualized environments.

Candidate Qualifications:

 

• 9+ years’ experience in supporting a Windows server environment (Windows server 2003, 2008,2012 Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL, Etc.).
• 7+ years’ experience and in-depth skills managing and supporting a medium to large-scale Citrix environment) including performing performance optimization, monitoring, profile management, upgrades and applications build.
• Some sort of exposure to VMware or any cloud technology
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a Microsoft Active Directory / GPO services in a global organization.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 –6 years related business experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. Citrix certification, Windows Server MSCE and other technical certifications would be considered a plus.

• Successful candidate must have the ability to closely interact with different business units to address support needs, gather and implement business requirements.
• Should be a creative innovator who can articulate strategic visions, consistently evaluates new technologies that could support business direction and needs.
• Knowledge of   scheduling, prioritization & status reporting.  Must have the ability to multi-task and track the status of multiple projects and issues at once.
• Candidates should have strong written and verbal communications skills

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Active Directory
• Experience on Windows Server OS 2003,2008 R2/2012/2016/201
• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware
• Working knowledge of Network communications, SAN and related terminology
• Familiarity with PowerShell or any other form of scripting and automation
• Experience in SQL Server and database administration and Microsoft Exchange would be considered a plus
• Experience in Backup and Storage technologies would be considered a plus
