SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)SCHEDULE: Full-time
- Endoscopy assists in the nursing care and preparation of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures by performance of routine and delegated duties according to guidelines of the hospital and the department of Surgical Services and within the scope of training of the Surgical Scrub Technician.
- Endoscopy assists the physician during the procedure, performs housekeeping duties as necessary, assists with the maintenance of all supplies, provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases, assists in preparation and transportation of patients, and participants in the call schedule to assist the department in providing quality care.
Qualifications
- 1 year Endoscopy experience preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required
