Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, research, and develop policy and procedure documents, according to client requirements
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with publication stakeholders, e.g., legal counsel and subject matter experts, to author, revise, and / or update technical information and client publications, as applicable
- Be able to clearly read, interpret, and present information associated with client functional areas; be an active listener; and resolve issues identified by stakeholders
- Manage client publications, to include coordinating updates according to client schedule
- Produce, deliver, and archive finished publications
- Ensure consistency of expression, logical organization and development, readability, appropriate formatting and conformity of grammar and style to client standards.
- Coordinate / attend meetings, record minutes, and document processes endorsed by the client and stakeholder community
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
- Adjust rapidly to shifts in priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, which may include staff support relating to client's current operations
- Maintain knowledge on current Department of Defense, client community, and internal organizational regulations /established procedures; and serve as the advisor on preparation of all types of correspondence
- Demonstrate experience with process flow and mapping, and / or Sharepoint
In order to qualify, the following qualifications and criteria must be met:
- Must have knowledge and experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Active TS/SCI
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated skills in critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5+ years related experience writing and editing documents; degree major in English or Communications preferable.
