Position Summary: The Department of Kinesiology and Health in the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University seeks a highly qualified candidate for a postdoctoral associate position to work with Dr. Steve Malin on a NIH - NHLBI R01 project investigating the effects of exercise dose interaction with metformin for vascular health in people with metabolic syndrome. Minimum Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a related discipline must be conveyed by the start date of the position. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A background in type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular function regulation is highly preferred. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential. An interest in integrating energy metabolism, endocrinology, and vascular physiology is preferred.
