Equity Specialist

Office of Compliance & Equity Management 

Serves as case manager for all cases handled within Office of Compliance and Equity Management (OCEM); assists with triage of incoming reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct; meets with reporting parties and provides information on resources, resolution options, and potential supportive measures; investigates cases as needed; facilitates hearings and pre-hearing processes; serves as system administrator for case management software used by multiple offices; participates in prevention work, including the facilitation and administration of training programs, awareness activities, and other programs and projects that align with the strategic plan for sexual assault prevention; and provides equal opportunity oversight of university employment searches and prepares annual Affirmative Action Plan and related reports.

Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of experience working with case management, equal opportunity, investigations, and/or related experience required. Attention to detail and strong communication skills also required. Student experience will be considered. Triage, investigation, and/or case management experience related to reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct preferred. Investigator certification and affirmative action experience also preferred.
