Test engineering role within Honeywell Military Avionics working on test solutions for product qualification and production acceptance testing. Develop, integrate, deliver and support test solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Requirements creation and trace matrix
  • Oversee project Architecture and Concept designs
  • Design Reviews
  • User Instructions/Manuals
  • Setup test benches and equipment
  • Integration
  • Test/Product Debug
  • Verification and Validation
  • Documentation
 
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5 years of experience in test engineering hardware and/or software development, integration and support
  • US citizen 
WE VALUE
  • Experience with NI TestStand, CVI, C, instrument drivers, emulators and/or Common ATE (CATE) instruments & resources, including USAF VDATS & US Army NGATS
  • Experience with avionics & associated test equipment
  • Individuals who take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
  • Individuals that assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
  • Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions
  • Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks
  • Experience writing Test Procedures, Version Description Documents, & test equipment drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with environmental and EMI qualification testing following Mil-Std-810 and DO-160.  
  • Proven track record developing test software and/or hardware
  • Some test engineering experience
