This position is on\-site with the customer providing O&M support at the Aegis Training and Readiness Center in Dahlgren, VA\. They will be responsible for maintaining the hardware and loading the software for Aegis baseline 6\.1, 6\.3, 7\.1, 7\.1R, 8, 9, and BMD 4\.0 equipment suites\. These suites include OJ\-719 and OJ720 consoles, OJ\-721 RBC’s \(Rack Based Console\), MCE’s \(Mission Critical Enclosure\), EPS cabinets \(Enhanced Processing Systems\), TAC\-4’s, Thin Client Display ORTS Terminals, and BFTT’s \(Battle Force Team Trainer\)\. In addition, they will be responsible for training the Navy technicians and support the in\-lab instructors\.

\-Five \(5\) years Surface Combat Systems engineering experience including development, activation, lifetime support, maintenance, configuration management and tactical training\.

\- Five \(5\) years experience maintaining hardware and software on Aegis Systems and associated equipment

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Familiarity with all active Aegis Baselines, both repair and operations

\- 5 years Surface Combat Systems engineering experience

\- Demonstrated ability to work in the team environment or individually

\- Demonstrated ability to interface with customers

**Desired Skills:**

\-Familiarity with active AEGIS Baselines \(with an emphasis on B/L 9\), both repair and operations\.

\- Knowledge of SPY Radar and MMSP

\- FCS expertise

\- CIC Watchstander experience

\- Certified Fiber Optic Repair
