Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an Army Senior Business Development Director to focus on pursuing opportunities and growing business in the Army Intelligence Community with a focus on the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). T his position will support our Defense Division and can be fully remote with occasional travel to our headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all aspects of account growth, new business development and customer relationship management across all levels within assigned accounts.
  • Meet with customers to understand the customer territory-relative to portfolio of deals
  • Develop a pipeline of new opportunities for assigned Sector or market segment
  • Lead identification and qualification of new business opportunities that support the account plan, Sector growthgoals, and submit targets, throughout the opportunity life cycle.
  • Lead early development of win strategy during the Assessment Phase, prior to assignment of a Capture Manager
  • Execute call plans to collect information about particular opportunities; in collaboration with technical staff, proffers and tests potential solutions; qualifies opportunities;document customer meetings in Salesforce.
  • Perform Capture Manager responsibilities for Sector or Business Area bids as needed.
  • Prepare for and brief opportunities at formal gate reviews.
  • Develop and brief Pursuit Reviews
  • Provide insight from customer point of view throughout opportunity life cycle.


Qualifications:
  • BS degree
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • 10+ years of Sales/BD/Capture/Proposal experience within the DoD/Army Intelligence Community, preferably INSCOM.
  • Experience managing a pipeline of business focused on year-over-year Growth
  • Experience developing Account Strategies
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce)
  • Clearable US Citizen
