Key Responsibilities:
- Stay current on customer and competitive marketplace trends and analyze opportunities for McKesson to expand product, services and program strategies in health systems.
- Gain deep knowledge of the Health system customer and evaluate sales and market trends based on collection and interpretation of available data to provide meaningful, customer-driven insights
- Enable customer engagement and identify and propose portfolio opportunities to management for key customer pain points
- Develop and implement market strategies aligned with business targets
- Understand and communicate complex or challenging messages effectively to a variety of internal audiences and to customers
Minimum Requirements
5+ years experience in marketing, sales or business development
Critical Skills
- Must have Upstream Marketing experience
- Exceptional ability to develop product strategies/business plans and turn that vision into reality
- Strong analytical skills and ability to size up market opportunity and give a market assessment based on customer input
- Strong experience on solutions selling in the health system or healthcare space
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation skills) and high business acumen
- Excellent organizational, execution and project management capabilities with keen attention to detail and proficiency at managing multiple projects with tight and often competing deadlines
- Excellent listening skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence without authority across all levels and functions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software especially Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in field sales or partnering with a sales team
- 2+ years managerial experience preferred
- Strong ability to act independently with sound business judgment
- Flexibility to take on different roles and duties as required
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare and our customers' success
Education
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Advanced degree preferred, but not required

- Travel up to 15%
