In this role you will lead the
consensus demand planning process for UK & I within our EMEA Electrical
business, managing the statistical forecast using specialized demand planning
software and working with our commercial teams to improve the forecast using
market intelligence.
Your main duties :
+ To lead the consensus
demand planning process for UK & I within our EMEA Electrical business,
managing the statistical forecast using specialized demand planning software
and working with our commercial teams to improve the forecast using market
intelligence.
+ To act as a subject
matter experts in SIOP and Demand Planning within the Zone, providing support
to the wider demand planning community to help improve our forecast accuracy
and process effectiveness.
+ To assist in the
deployment of SIOP and Demand Planning tools incorporating all business units
inside EMEA not currently engaged with the process.
+ To provide a link between
Demand Planning and the Supply Chain community to ensure the forecast is
cascaded effectively through our manufacturing and distribution network using our
ERP systems to help us achieve excellent customer service.
+ Effectively manage the
inventory and purchasing control elements of the UK & Ireland Zone –
including the proactive auditing of the buyer processes and stock control
within zone.
+ Collaborates with Supply
Chain Coordinators to ensure outputs of Sales Demand Reviews are considered
into Supply Planning Reviews per product line, including analysis and
recommendations concerning material replenishment strategies across multiple
ERP systems.
+ Acts as the operational
owner of the SIOP process in UK&Ireland: generates statistical forecast and
works with sales and product line specialists in selected countries to analyse
and improve it, adding market intelligence and documenting assumptions to be
presented in the monthly Demand Review meeting.
+ Provides implementation
support and coaching in zone; prepares and assists transition of data analysis
for Demand Reviews for all data attributes required in partnership with Sales
Demand Owners and Coordinators.
+ Monitors standard
processes and KPIs are deployed, being measured and reaching defined targets to
sustain a regular Forecast process and benefits for all product lines,
including feedback and corrective action as needed per Sales Country
+ Provides training and
coaching to stakeholders and peers on overall process steps and tools.
+ Recommend and implement
improvement initiatives across areas of responsibility
+ Develops, inspires,
motivates and manages the team in line with the Eaton Leadership Model to
achieve business goals.
+ Drive operational
improvements in PTP management in the zone Collaborating with central BSC
teams.
+ Act as senior escalation
point for customer, and operational escalations, coordinating with available
teams to resolves issues. Work needs to be coordinated with Points of Contact
in the sales force, Budapest Shared Business and UK Management peers.
+ Contribute to the UK CSO
Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with
Eaton's overall strategic goals.
+ Establishes good working
relationships with both internal and external teams
+ Defines performance
metrics and evaluates and interprets data to drive performance improvement and
productivity throughout the organisation.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
+ Minimum Degree Level or equivalent,
preferably engineering or business operations related or proven industry
experience
+ Proven track record in Data Analytics,
knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferable), supply chain
planning/procurement, Supervision of Teams?.
+ IT literate with Demand
Management/Forecast Tool experience preferred
