Plan and Maintain the Program budget and allocate the budget based on the quotation estimates and ensure there is no EAC &

Risk growth through a robust MOS that is aligned with the GTO SRD & GSS PM organizations. Ensure AOP budget is effectively utilized and tracked through the year. Release the un-used budget timely.

  • Identify and execute the SRD & GSS PM Improvement projects that meet the cost and Cycle Time reduction targets of the SRD COE & GSS (Ground Support Solutions)
  • Work closely with other Aerospace organizations such as Engineering, PP&C, PMOS, C&PS, GBE, Tech Pubs, AME/ISC, and PSE to identify and execute cost and cycle time improvement activities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to gather competitive intelligence and identify additional scope where needed to improve customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate Accountability in Successful Program Execution:
  • End to End keycode program management accountability to successfully meet the program’s objectives
  • Ensure the program objectives and requirements are met in addressing the Mechanical Service Related Difficulties (SRD) from Mechanical Systems & Components (MS&C), Engines & Power Systems (E&PS), SBUs across multiple GBEs and
  • Engineering COEs.
  • Ensure the program objectives and requirements are met in addressing the GSS Military Programs that are currently underway to protect critical program milestones
  • Provide direction to the project teams to ensure adequate planning & to execute to the scope, cost, & schedule to meet the baseline plan
  • Work with remote stakeholders on the baseline program plans and be proactive to identify and mitigate the Risks and Early Warning Indicators (EWI)
  • Engage with business teams, Chief Engineers, and engineering groups to evaluate and troubleshoot the product failures/issues timely and effectively
  • Periodically lead the root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations on moderately complex problems during the program execution
  • To be able to travel, sometimes with a short notice where needed, and to be able to drive/attend the necessary meetings across the time zones to engage the stakeholders effectively
  • Lead the engineering and non-engineering teams in generating proposals, statement of work (SOW), review estimation packages, program schedules, control & monitor execution
  • Closely work with In-service Resolution Board (IRB) chair, Customer Support PM, Project Engineer, PI Cert, PDQE, Chief Engineer as the Honeywell Program Manager (Keycode PM) and communicate with program stakeholders, including customers, provide status, respond to questions and execute timely actions
  • Proactively work with GBE/IRB to align the respective programs with their (GBE) approved product roadmaps & AOP
  • Enable Review and approval of the necessary product documentation to meet the qualification, certification, Technical Publications (SB, CMM, etc.,) expectations before releasing the product updates into production
  • Ensure timely information flow among the team members and implement project-related communication plans and operating systems (MOS)
  • Work closely with PMOS, PP&C, and Customer Support Program Managers (CSPM) to setup integrated schedules, milestones, budgets, product cost, etc. and closely monitor the EVM data to drive changes to achieve the program targets
  • Need to report the program status out monthly through PMRs and other leadership review meetings

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project engineering, technical project lead (CAM) experience with an exposure to HON Aero Program Management Methodologies
  • Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

  • Some Program Management / Project Engineering / CAM Experience of RD/GSS/NPI/Obsolescence/AT programs
  • Proven problem solving & influencing abilities
  • Having program reviews with leadership and result oriented communication skills
  • Some exposure in Earned Value Management (EVM) and some familiarity / working experience on PE/PM tools such as HMR, MAT, AET, Accolade, PMR scorecard, etc.
  • Exposure to working on complex programs
  • PE/PM Academy Foundation Graduate and/or PMP certified
  • Good to have worked with internal groups such as engineering design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, business ops etc. to ensure that program objectives are achieved in a timely manner
  • Self-motivated, results oriented and able to lead with little or no management oversight
  • Demonstrated successful program/project delivery with a focus on scope, quality, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation
  • Experience with Design-to-Cost (DTC) / Design for Manufacturability (DFM) / Design for Testability (DFT) activities, manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Exposure to working with the 3rd party / outsourced entities
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above
