Senior Project Management Liaison will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects as liaison between the Standard Missile-3 program, functional organizations and the MDA customer. Assesses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for problem solving with stakeholders.
This position will mainly support the Supply Chain Risk Management scope of work on the SM-3 program. The candidate must be organized and able to define action plans and manage closure within both the program IPT structure and directly with functional departments within the robust matrix. The best candidate will be able to assess the scope of work of a project and develop a plan on how to execute new and evolving requirements within the supply base, including, but not limited to, Supply Chain Risk Management requirements as defined by the MDA customer. Must be a self-starter and able to navigate through complex organizational mazes in order to reach closure on actions in support of the scope of work and flow down to the supply base. This job will require frequent interface with Program Managers, Hardware Management Teams, functional leadership and the SM-3 customer (Missile Defense Agency). A well-suited candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to operate in a team environment. This assignment is a good fit for someone who is looking to gain experience in a variety of roles and activities that are in support of the Standard Missile-3 program (SM-3).

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational skills in project management and task prioritization
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Familiarity with Program Plans and their execution
  • Existing Secret or able to obtain secret clearance at later date

  • Knowledge of supply chain functions and responsibilities. The ability to operate independently but still retain the larger company focus
  • Proficiency with MS Project and Excel
  • Technical aptitude
Bachelor___s degree from accredited university or college with a major in business, accounting, science or equivalent experience
