Information Systems Support Manager at Winona Health

**Job Description:**

As a Support Manager you will manage associates responsible for performing solution-related service request investigation, incident resolution, and application maintenance. You will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of associates assigned to support of specific software, hardware or system solutions and ensure all phases of support are properly coordinated, scheduled, monitored, tracked, escalated and resolved. You will prioritize and schedule work, allocate resources, monitor progress, and support change management efforts while also ensuring support efforts meet quality standards, promote client satisfaction as well as adhere to service level agreements. As a member of this team, you will act as a resource for questions or issues and serve as an escalation point for resolving complex issues or situations in addition to managing workflow and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Finally, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of processes and resolution of issues.

Your people management responsibilities include seeking to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. In addition, you will identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. You will be responsible for leading by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team as well as create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments. You will also provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for associates’ development as well as identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Finally, your responsibilities will include promoting and building a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates’ skills to fill gaps.

**Basic Qualifications**

+ Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

+ At least 7 years technical support work experience

+ At least 3 years of people management work experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Healthcare IT experience

+ At least 5 years of people management work experience
