We are looking for Sales Manager in Eaton’s Electrical Business, based in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be Perth based with extensive industry experience across the WA market and will be responsible for retaining and growing the existing client base in addition to developing new market share across the WA marketplace. Working within the Power Distribution team and working collaboratively with the Power Quality business, this role will be critical in driving value across the power train for Eaton’s customers.

Your essential responsibilities:

+ Lead and coordinate the Electrical Sector pipeline, project pursuits and key account management

+ Build and maintain relationships with customers, technicians, vendors and suppliers both nationally and globally

+ Develop and Maintain regional / state sales business

+ Find and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients in the region

+ Prepare and oversee of tenders, contracts and reporting

+ Manage and coordinate escalations across the state

+ Monitor industry activities and market trends

+ Lead and develop a team of sales professionals

+ Engage with multiple departments to meet profit-plans

Qualifications

If you have:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

+ 10 + years sales experience (7+ years of related

technical sales experience preferred)

+ 5 + years’ experience managing a sales team

+ Proven record of success managing direct and

indirect customers (Wholesalers, OEMs, End Users and contractors) across

diverse product lines, and customer segments

+ Exceptional communication skills

+ Oracle ERP, SAP or other business system equivalent
