Cache Valley Hospital is looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist!  PRN 
 
The Ultrasonographer performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. The Technician is responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Is also responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients. The Technician will demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS Certificaton required.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

Education:

  • As required with ARDMS, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Experience:

  • One(1) year of previous Ultrasound experience preferred.

Special Qualifications:

  • Must be able to be on an on-call status and respond within thirty (30) minutes of notification.
