The Strategic Investment Manager develops long-range objectives and strategic plans for the enterprise by identifying internal and external strategic gaps and opportunities that could affect growth and profitability. Scans environment for business opportunities, maintains surveillance over market, and perform strategic analysis of acquisition candidates. Plans and coordinates business reviews. Regularly performs analysis of alternative courses of action.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10 years of experience; or Master's degree with a minimum 7 years of experience in business, finance, technical or a related discipline
  • Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize business and financial insights from multiple sources
  • Previous M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in financial analysis and/or strategy development
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or other, relevant graduate degree. A technical degree coupled with relevant business education or relevant work experience will also be considered
  • Specific experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
  • Strong analytical, statistical and critical thinking skills paired with the ability to visualize in a meaningful manner
  • Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to handle multiple priorities, and the ability to function with minimal guidance
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management
  • Current DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance
