The College of Medicine, Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati is seeking an academic Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery for a full-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate would join an active faculty group dedicated to a clinical practice providing the full range of Vascular Surgery care.  
 
Job Duties: The ideal candidate will provide open and endovascular Vascular surgical care in elective, emergent and outpatient settings.  The candidate will join the current faculty in providing on call coverage.    

 

The candidate will participate in operating room and clinical teaching, and academic advising.  Candidates should have a clear interest in education of resident surgeons, fellows and medical students as well as demonstrate a commitment to an academic career through research, teaching, and supporting the department’s tripartite mission.  

Licensure by Ohio Medical Board is required by time of appointment.  
 
Minimum qualifications:  MD or equivalent; completion of a five year accredited integrated  residency in Vascular Surgery or completion of a five year accredited residency in Surgery and completion of an accredited fellowship in Vascular Surgery.  Candidates must hold RPVI credentials and be BC/BE in Vascular Surgery.
