The UTG Finance Manager position will report to the Controller, UTG Finance and will have responsibilities including: (i) Lead for all financial accounting and reporting activities, (ii) Subject matter expert and lead for International Assignee payroll and payroll related charges and processes (iii) Liaison to RTX Corporate for cross divisional charges, (iv) Support UTG project deliverables for future populations and SAP enhancements.

The candidate for this position will work to support our cross-functional team of finance, human resources, tax and legal professionals.


  • Subject matter expert for all payroll and payroll related International Assignee charges to UTG
  • Support the UTG billing and accounting close process and all reporting requirements within the required schedule
  • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries related to UTG Operations and International Assignee costs
  • Provide accounting guidance to UTG Finance analysts where applicable
  • Manage the monthly Intercompany balancing process to RTX Corp
  • Participate in monthly account reconciliations utilizing Blackline
  • Support the eSOX process and ACA reviews where applicable
  • Assist in supporting annual audit requirements.
  • Provide accounting guidance to support new UTG populations and SAP enhancement projects
  • Compliance with governmental regulations and fulfilment of statutory reporting


  • Minimum 8 years of related accounting/finance experience
  • Technical knowledge of accounting processes
  • Technical knowledge of payroll accounting for International Assignees
  • Working knowledge SAP ERP system application
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills
  • Strong process documentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a multitasking environment
  • Understanding of SAP modules SD, PS and FICO desirable
  • Firm grasp of UTC accounting systems and controls desirable


  • Bachelor___s degree required, B.S. in Accounting preferred, Master___s degree and/or CPA is a plus, but not required.
