JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide project management support for a large construction program.  This faced paced position will work within the Program Management Office responsible for the project located in Redmond, WA. This role is integral in supporting all areas of operations from design and procurement to risk mitigation to technology to finance, as well as actual construction and program close-out.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports all facets of program operations meeting management including kickoffs, schedules, planning, presentations and follow up.

Assist program management team on projects and assignments. Interfaces directly with internal team and clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, work plan schedule & milestones.

Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep internal team and client and project resources informed. Facilitates project meetings.  Create, distribute and archive all project communications. Will coordinate directly with client as well as internal and external project teams.

Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely and coordinated. Helps to develop and maintain training materials.

Tracks progress of projects against goals, objectives, approved timelines. Reports status and variances.

Assists with expense reporting and onboarding process.

Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, schedule, quality and risk with management support.

Implements standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency planning and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

2+ years’ experience preferred.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful.
