This employee will serve as the Pratt & Whitney___s Oklahoma City Operations Data Analytics Leader.

OKC Operations currently supports the aftermarket maintenance and overhaul of modules/engines for the F117, F119, and F135 programs including logistical operations and STC

This team is key to the future of the Military Engines organization, the continued success of P&W, and the national defense of the United States.

This role is critical to the success of OKC Operations and Warehouses

Additionally, this role will be responsible for accurately representing the OKC Operations to other P&W organizations, our USAF partner, and the military customer.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Develop and evolve the vision and strategy for data acquisition, analysis, and alignment; partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement to our taxonomy, definitions, and classification of our QCPC turn back data. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
  • Partner with USAF OC-ALC Propulsion Maintenance Group (PMXG) regarding data strategy, process, taxonomy, and definitions to ensure focus on key process drivers and improvement opportunities; ensure timely alignment between our data activities and respective outcomes
  • Define and evolve the data strategy, approach, and key takeaways for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Summits, Working Groups, Capacity Reviews, Monthly and Quarterly unit performance assessments, Scorecard updates, and ad-hoc data needs; identify what data is value add and how it should be shared to drive meaningful dialogue and/or to share conclusions or recommendations
  • Define, evolve, and own the operating and communication rhythms to distribute timely and accurate data and key outcomes, takeaways, and recommendations to key stakeholders (internal and external/ALC/JPO)
  • Lead a team of data analysts and systems specialists who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data, as well as the appropriate analysis of it to draw clear, actionable conclusions; ensure data collection is timely and accurate. Develop and__implement__data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Drive systemic SAP system or process improvements that will result in improved accuracy or volume of data or a reduction in analysis time required through use of the ACE principles.__ Integration of data analysis in process enhancements and continuous improvement activities.
  • Evaluate performance and prepare plans for capacity procedures and provide comprehensive support for all departments in performing capacity planning activities in facility.__ Provide assistance to analytical design of systems and forecast all resource capacity requirements.
  • Analyze capacity planning and provide appropriate recommendation for capital expenditures via analysis which ensure compliance to all customer demands in facility.__ Assist finance departments in justification and preparation of plans for all demands via capital expenditures
  • Oversee employee timekeeping, awards, discipline and leadership development
  • You may be expected to travel up to 10% of the time.

Education:

  • Bachelor___s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Master___s Degree preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 -8 years___ experience in an Operations environment required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in data analytics, balanced scorecard, or operations data management etc. required.
  • US Citizenship is also a requirement.
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Strong verbal and written__communication skills
  • An analytical mind with attention to detail and inclination for__problem-solving
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise__regarding__data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • SAP proficiency
  • Strong__analytical skills__with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
